Everybody has their own opinions on Filberto’s.  My opinion most of the time years ago was it was a little expensive, that I could eat at a sit down restaurant for the same money.  I don’t know if that was actually true, but that was my thoughts.  6 years ago or so I started going to this particular Filberto’s every Tuesday on my way home from work.  I would get lots of tacos like 12 or so for the whole family for dinner.  They had a special that made them $1.50 each or something.  I remember them being pretty good, maybe a little greasy.  I mainly stopped going because I was in the drive thru line for 30 minutes or so.  It took me a while to quit going.  That being said I only got the tacos here on Tuesday.  This review, I went a Monday.
 
Crispy Beef Taco – I ordered 2 tacos, and they were both the following:
Appearance = 1.0 / 2 – It was not too beat up, just did not look fresh
Tortilla = 0.5 / 2 – Shell was ok for the crispyness, just not fresh.
Meat / filling = 0.5 / 2 – The beef was dry and just not good
Sauce = 1.9 / 2 – Fantastic.  Just the right consistency for thickness and flavor.  For both the green and red.  However the sauce can’t restore the taco into a new fresh taco.
Value = 0.5 / 2 $3.50 – It was pretty expensive for an old taco. 
Total Score 4.4/ 10 – I think this is a very generous score
 
With my Taco not being very edible, luckily I got an order of Rolled Tacos. $1.59 on Mondays
 
Rolled Tacos
Appearance = 1.7 / 2 – Looked great, would have liked to see some guac. 
Tortilla = 1.7 / 2 – Crispy in all the right ways.  All of the meat did not come out in the first bite, that is a good thing.
Meat / filling = 1.7 / 2 – The meat was good
Sauce = 1.9 / 2 – Fantastic.  Just the right consistency for thickness and flavor.  For both the green and red.  The rolled taco gave me something to eat this yummy sauce with.  I would have liked guacamole, but it did not come with them.  Rolled tacos
Value = 1.9 / 2 $1.59 – Great price for this taco

Taco Boy’s On Rural North of Apache Blvd. 1015 S. Rural Rd, Tempe, AZ   My cousin Kelsee Recommended this one.  Thanks Kelsee! They have a location in Phoenix and the Tempe location is a newer one.  Great place, great atmosphere and busy.  Opens  at 10am  and people are outside waiting.   Everything for the most part just comes with meat on the tortilla and you can dress it how you please from their salsa bar, cilantro, onions, sauces, cabbage and so on.  I really liked that aspect of it.   The tortillas are not made in house.  They are made by a vendor, but made fresh daily.  The cashier, not sure who he is was very friendly with me asking him about the tortillas.  Not all the taco shops have been as friendly, they sometimes take great offense to being asked if they make them in house.  Taco Boy’s has some class.   I will work on asking it, as smoothly and nicely as ...

Biscuit Tacos

Biscuit Tacos Turned out so good.  I bought these taco molds from Amazon, seem to work pretty good.  Had a disaster with frying wonton wrappers, but that is a different story.   Take some buttermilk biscuits add flour and roll them out and thin as you can.  I would recommend rolled all of the ones you are going to cook at once.  I noticed the 2 I saved for later were harder to work with being out of the fridge and opened.   I put the rolled out biscuits in the taco molds.  I can imagine that you could use a wad of foil or something to make these.  I used the airfryer, for speed and I like how it cooks bread.  I cooked at 350 degrees for 7 minutes or so turning it 3 times. It may take longer depending on your airfyer or oven.   I made Pepper Gravy from Walmart or Sams.  It is pretty cheap and easy to make.  Don’t make gravy from scratch too much, because of this mix. Crumbl Cookie Review 01/18/22 week of  Jan 17-22   PEANUT BUTTER FT. REESE’S PEANUT BUTTER CUP Our signature peanut butter cookie topped with melty peanut butter chips and chopped Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.  This one the cookie was pretty peanut buttery and I liked it.  The reese’s toppings were great.   8/10   The Copycat recipe I feel tasted better than the actual crumbl. The Copycat was thinner and easier to eat chew and better texture.  Copycat recipe is from @Chahinex_tbt  https://lifestyleofafoodie.com/crumbl-peanut-butter-reeses-cookies/#recipe-link .     9/10   ROCKY ROAD A dark chocolate cookie stuffed with gooey marshmallow filling then covered in semi-sweet chocolate chips and almonds.
